Dipstix Tire & Lube and Gateway Tire & Service Center recently partnered to recognize Mississippi educators through a Back-to-School Teacher Giveaway, awarding a local teacher a prize package worth over $700.

Hosted on Facebook, the giveaway invited community members to nominate teachers who make a difference in the lives of their students. The campaign generated an overwhelming response, with more than 400 entries submitted across the two companies’ Facebook pages.

After reviewing more than 400 nominations, Madeline Boykin of North Delta School in Batesville was randomly selected as the giveaway winner. Boykin received a prize package that included a $250 Visa gift card, four free oil changes, Gateway and Dipstix merchandise, and additional prizes.

“Dipstix and Gateway both have deep roots in Mississippi, and this was a great opportunity for two local companies to come together and give back,” said Dipstix Marketing Director Matt Rich. “The response from our communities was incredible. We are proud to be part of something that celebrates the people who give so much to their students every day.”
